Andrew Ferenci is the 24 year old co-founder of Spinback, a social commerce platform for retailers. Now part of Buddy Media.

I like remote controlled toys, cars, and ski trips.

I got this email today from Lala.com, which is the cloud-based music streaming service that was just shut down by Apple:

Ouch… depressing to see that LaLa is being shut down but it seemed inevitable considering Apple’s acquisition of LaLa back in December 2009. This is probably the signal that Apple is ready to make serious moves in providing a cloud-based itunes streaming service in the near term.
I’ve been using LaLa religiously over the past 3 years because I loved browsing, buying, and listening to music in my browser without clogging my hard drive with large m4a itunes files. LaLa  has cool social plugins for sharing music across social media platforms and the user experience is fun and intuitive; not to mention that you can purchase songs for $.10.
I’m sad to see LaLa go to the grave. We’ll see what Steve has in store for itunes-in-the-cloud.
