Check out  MisoTrendy… a fun foursquare application I built over a few weekends with Rakshith from Init Labs. MisoTrendy answers the question “What bars and restaurants are popular right now.” MisoTrendy allows you to visualize real-time trending locations via Google maps API + Foursquare API. Think of it as a real-time steam of the most popular restaurants+bars+venues in your area. Why did we make this?—->mostly for fun… but also because the foursquare app only pulls 2 trending locations at a given time based on your physical location.  We wanted the ability to see all popular locations, either at home or on-the-go (and who doesn’t want to follow the crowd). MisoTrendy works on desktop or mobile. Go ahead and check it out.
